As we all know, there are thousands of ethnic groups in Africa & about four distinct races. These being: • Arabic (north Africa) • Black African (including the Khoi & San ) • Cushitic i. e. Somalia, some Ethiopian groups, Eritrean & (north) Sudan • European (mainly western South Africa) The large majority of Africa is still black with black people who have genetically adapted to their different environments mainly Nilotes , west Africans/Bantu, pygmies & Khoi/San. The main surprise some might come across is that Cushitic people are not black. I think this comes from using Usonian concepts of race when here in Africa, we can see that Cushitic people aren't 100% black. To me, they are an Arab & black (probably Nubian) mix. Some Cushitic people even say themselves that they're not black. The coloured people in the western part of South Africa are not black either & perhaps, have become their own distinct race like the Cushitic people. ...
