As we all know, there are thousands of ethnic groups in Africa & about four distinct races. These being:  • Arabic (north Africa)  • Black African (including the Khoi & San ) • Cushitic i. e. Somalia, some Ethiopian groups, Eritrean & (north) Sudan  • European (mainly western South Africa)  The large majority of Africa is still black with black people who have genetically adapted to their different environments mainly  Nilotes , west Africans/Bantu, pygmies & Khoi/San. The main surprise some might come across is that Cushitic people are not black. I think this comes from using Usonian concepts of race when here in Africa, we can see that Cushitic people aren't 100% black. To me, they are an Arab & black (probably Nubian) mix. Some Cushitic people even say themselves that they're not black. The coloured people in the western part of South Africa are not black either & perhaps, have become their own distinct race like the Cushitic people. ...

•While the most famous people from South Africa globally are white or coloured (mixed race), South Africa is a majority black country so in most places you can go weeks & months never seeing any other race other than black people or even any other ethnicity depending on where you are in South Africa. If you're in a Venda area, you're most likely to see just Venda people who speak Venda. It's not because ethnicities in South Africa choose to isolate themselves but most places were tribal areas where indigenous people lived.  • While the wealth is mostly in white hands, black people enjoy relative self-determination. This can be seen by the Royal Bafokeng group & various indigenous language radio stations & TV stations. It's commonly said that 75% of the wealth of the land belongs to whites but black people have managed to scrape together their own institutions such as schools, magazines & sports institutions.  • The biggest market in South A...

I'm scrolling through social media & I see a picture of black Usonians in the government of the USA & the image is clearly divisive because some black people in the comments are writing racial slurs & calling them "white puppets". This is not an uncommon story for us here in South Africa (& continental Africa) either, where we have black leaders that are put in place by foreign or anti-black powers.  Sure, there's been a black President of the USA, a black woman in the British Royal Family, a black person in the Italian parliament & even a black Russian dignitary... so why does our place in the world still feel inadequate? There's been a black person in space, a black person on Mount Everest, a black bobsled team in the Olympics but we still feel like we lack something. I, recently, discovered that anthropologists can tell from a skeleton what race an individual is & what age they were. This then, obviously, debunks the theory that race is skin deep. It is, in fact, bone deep. Black people are claimed to have smaller brains  to add to this new racial divide created by science.  The list of characteristics that are said to make black people better at sports more than other races are:  • Higher percentage of fast twitch muscles.  • Longer arm length.  • Longer hands.  • Faster patellar tendon (knee) reflexes.  • Higher centre of gravity (i. e. more spring in their step).  • More muscle, less fat.  • Broader shoulders, narrower hips.  • 3 - 19% more testosterone.  • Greater bone density.  I know some other races get jealous  of the fact that black people are on average athletically superior but every race has it's own thing that they're good at. Alright, in my previous blog I mentioned a white & Indian exodus in South Africa. We already joke about white people leaving South Africa for Australia, England or Canada & finding the going tough then coming back to South Africa but what if they were to go to a country where everything would be comfortable for them & they would forget about South Africa. What would become of South Africa?  Farmers: We're led to believe that the majority of farmers in South Africa are white so that vaccum would have to be filled & frankly, I don't think the current crop of black farmers can fill the void so we may have to buy food from elsewhere in the world so food prices may increase more than they already have.  Skills exit: Some may claim a skills exit in South Africa would leave a vacuum that would be filled by indigenous black professionals & while that may be true, they'll need to obtain the experience that the former non-black people had.
