I once suggested that schools separated by gender could be a good idea when scholars reach their teens & perhaps this should be done right from the beginning of a scholar's school career & even perhaps preschool?
Have your say on my poll.
The benefits could be:
• Less teenage pregnancies.
• Less "sex for marks" scenarios.
• Less all-round sexual predator scenarios by teachers.
• Children more comfortable in their gender group.
• Less bullying by boys of girls.
The disadvantages are:
• Lack of socialization between boys & girls.
• Too much testosterone in boys' schools may be harmful.
• Girls may no longer know how to act with males.
The syllabus, timetables & sports activities could be the same for both boys' & girls' schools just done by their respective genders. Is it a concept worth trying for a better society?
